Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ogulu, has responded to claims made by his colleague Brymo that he is a better musician.

Brymo recently stated in an interview that he believes Burna Boy does not meet his musical standards.

He declared himself the “finest vocalist on the continent” and claimed to be a superior songwriter compared to any other African artist, including Burna Boy.

In what appears to be a direct response to Brymo’s comments, Burna Boy took to his Instagram Story and posted, “At this point, they do and say anything to get at the king.

“Werey dey sing Yoruba proverb music for us. When K1 and Saheed Osupa dem still dey carry us trabaye.”
