Nigerian artist Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, widely known as Peruzzi, has recounted an unsettling incident where someone placed a fetish item in his jacket during his stay at Davido‘s residence in Lagos.
Peruzzi discovered the item one evening after a shower, emphasising that it was intended to cause harm but proved ineffective due to his strong mindset.
Speaking on the Zero Conditions podcast, he shared, “I don’t know how to explain this, but I carried the jacket, and while I was trying to wear it, something fell, and I looked, and I saw jazz tied and everything. Juju, better juju in my room in a jacket that just came from the laundry. Na say my head strong, na e make I see am.”
Peruzzi eventually moved out of Davido’s house when his partner, Chioma, became pregnant with their late son Ifeanyi, a decision he made without informing Davido but only confided in the late associate Obama DMW.
