Nigerian comic actor Samuel Animashaun Perry, also known as Broda Shaggi, has expressed gratitude for receiving the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA.
Shaggi was named the winner of the ongoing event’s ‘Best Actor in a Comedy’ category.
Speaking about his breakthrough, the actor rushed to Facebook on Sunday to thank God for the prize.
He stated that earning the AMVCA award again following the 2022 edition was the result of hard work, emphasizing that hard work pays.
He wrote, “Winning this award is a reminder that Hard work, consistency, dedication and perseverance pays off.
“Thank you, Almighty God and to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m beyond grateful, and I owe it to you all.
“Special shout out to my ever supportive manager @Upanddownfellow.
“Here is to chasing even bigger dreams in the future!”
