Popular Nigerian singer D’banj (Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo) has blasted a contestant who sang Wizkid’s “Reckless” at the ongoing season of the ‘Nigeria Idol’ reality TV show.
The judges Dbanj, Simi, and Obi Asika returned to the program last month after Progress Chukwuyem won last year’s edition of the competition.
The unnamed contestant performed Wizkid‘s well-known hit song, Reckless, during the audition, which was broadcast on Africa Magic on Sunday.
The Koko Master described the performance as a failure and rejected him after the other judges became amused by his act and busted into laughter.
Dbanj said: “You are not just a star, you are a big disaster.”
