President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, to attend Governor Hope Uzodimma’s second term inauguration.
The President arrived at Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, where he was welcomed by Governor Uzodimma and other government officials and leaders from the South-East state.
Accompanied by some officials, the Nigerian President will be commissioning projects in the state after the inauguration at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.
In addition to Tinubu, several governors from the region, including Governor Chukwuma Soludo, are also present at the event.
The Anambra governor is represented by his deputy, Valentine Onyeka Chukwu Ibezim. Upon his arrival, President Tinubu inaugurated the newly designed Sam Mbakwe International Airport Road, which was named after him by Governor Uzodinma.
