The Super Falcons of Nigeria earned a spot in the 2024 Olympic Games after playing a 0-0 draw against South Africa at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Tuesday.

Randy Waldrum’s team emerged victorious in the final qualifying round with a 1-0 aggregate score.

Nigeria had the first scoring opportunity of the game when Kaylin Swart saved Chinwendu Ihezuo’s cross.

The Super Falcons dominated the first half of the game, while the hosts struggled to create any clear chances.

Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie made two crucial saves in the second half to prevent South Africa from scoring.
