Nigerian record producer and singer Chisom Faith, also known as Rexxie , has been arrested in Uganda.

He shared this information on his Instagram page on Monday morning.

Rexxie mentioned that he was detained by Ugandan immigration but did not provide a reason for his arrest, which he felt was unjust.

He is asking for support from his fans and is requesting that they help secure his release by using the hashtag “UgandaFreeRexxie.”

He wrote, “I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan Immigration.

“Pls, I need help.”

Allub Times recalls that Nigerian musicians Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and taken to court in Uganda for performing at a concert at Speke Resort, Kampala, on December 12th.

This was in violation of COVID-19 social distancing rules. They were detained in prison but later released after two days.
