Nigerian singer Shallipopi has opened up about his fear of falling in love, citing the vulnerability of his heart as the reason behind his apprehension.

The singer revealed that a previous romantic disappointment left him emotionally fragile. Speaking on the latest episode of The Receipts Podcast, Shallipopi shared, “I have a deep affection for love, but I approach it cautiously due to the complexities of modern relationships.”

Reflecting on his past experiences, he disclosed, “My heart is sensitive, and I’m wary of being hurt again. I’ve been through heartbreak before, stemming from circumstances beyond my control.”

Shallipopi admitted to being faithful in committed relationships, with the exception of casual encounters. He clarified that he is currently single and not actively seeking companionship, but rather “waiting patiently for someone who shares my energy.”
