Details have emerged of the meeting between President Bola Tinubu and the former military head of state, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB).

Allub Times reports that President Tinubu visited former military leader Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) at his residence in Minna, Niger State. The meeting was closed-door.

The president was accompanied by Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State after inaugurating some projects executed by the current administration.

According to Leadership, the president and the ex-military chief spent over an hour discussing national issues such as the economy, reforms, and security challenges.

During the visit, Tinubu promised to find lasting solutions to the problems in the livestock sector of agriculture.

Babangida, as a statesman, offered advice to President Tinubu and emphasized the urgent need to address the socio-economic challenges facing Nigerians and the nation.

Allub Times gathered that Babangida recommended that all government programs focus on helping the average person.

He promised to keep his door open to all leaders but emphasized the importance of preserving the country’s unity.
