President Tinubu has arrived in Niger State to inaugurate the mechanized agricultural project.

Tinubu is set to inaugurate the newly named Minna International Airport, agro-processing zone, and agricultural equipment.

The state governor, Umar Bago, renamed the airport to Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna, on Friday.

The airport was originally opened by former military Head of State Ibrahim Babangida on June 20, 1990.

Bago renovated the airport, which was previously closed due to a damaged runway, and it now includes a fully equipped Domestic Terminal.

Approximately 2,000 hectares of land will be utilized for the agro-processing zone project, with 1,000 hectares designated for drip irrigation.
