Private Jet Crash-Lands In Ibadan With 10 People Onboard

A private jet carrying 10 people, including Very Important Persons (VIPs), crash-landed in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

The incident occurred on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport.

The jet, registered as N580KR, veered off the runway and ended up in a nearby bush.

Firefighters and rescue officials from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) quickly arrived at the scene. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities reported.

“It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty,” a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Carol Adekotujo, told ChannelsTV.
