Gov Muftwang Condemns Fresh Killings In Plateau Communities

Plateau State Governor Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has strongly condemned the recent security breach that resulted in the loss of many lives in the Kwahaslalek community and various parts of the Mangu Local Government Area.

In a statement in Jos, Governor Mutfwang expressed deep sorrow over the increasing security challenges caused by suspected criminals, which have led to the destruction of homes and livelihoods.

He offered his heartfelt condolences to the grieving families, affected communities, and those injured in these unfortunate incidents.

Governor Mutfwang also expressed sympathy for the residents of Mangu Local Government Area and other affected communities.

He urged them to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly for swift intervention.

However, he appealed to the communities involved not to take the law into their own hands. He reiterated the state government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the security of all citizens.

The governor recognized the important role of security agencies in restoring peace and emphasized the need for ongoing collaboration between them and the government to ensure the maximum protection of all citizens.

Governor Mutfwang issued a strong warning, stating that his administration will not tolerate any more instances of lawlessness in any part of the state. He urged security agencies to increase their efforts in order to maintain complete peace throughout the state.

While urging the citizens of the state to remain calm and patient, Governor Mutfwang assured them that the government is taking proactive measures to prevent further loss of lives and damage to property.
