Former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 presidential election, Daniel Bwala, has criticized the quality of the boreholes donated by Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.

Bwala believes the boreholes do not meet the standards of fairness and justice.

He also mentioned that the Water Corporation in Anambra State was not well-maintained during Obi’s time as governor.

Recently, Obi completed his visit to 19 northern states and donated boreholes to communities in Kaduna, Sokoto, and other places.

While many Nigerians praised this gesture, some individuals, including Bwala, have expressed dissatisfaction.

The former lawmaker posted on his X handle: “You only need to see @PeterObi water corporation when he was a governor to understand why he sponsored that borehole that is repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience.

“That is his style of governance. You cannot give what you don’t have. I am so happy that the demographics he deceived in the 2023 elections are wiser now.”
