Former President Muhammadu Buhari has explained the reason behind his apology to Nigerians before leaving office in 2023.

Allub Times recalls that Buhari handed over power to President Bola Tinubu, a successor from his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), on May 29, 2023.

Buhari stated that he did not have any intention to intentionally cause pain and suffering to anyone, but a decision had to be made, and ultimately, he felt the need to apologize.

These remarks were made by the former president during a book launch in Abuja on Tuesday.

Two publications about the ex-president were launched today. The first was “Working with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser on Media and Publicity (2015–2023),” written by Femi Adesina, and a volume of five books, “Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy

(2015–2023)”, edited by Dr. Udu Yakubu.
