Aisha Galadima, a well-known political ally of former Kaduna State governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, was arrested in Kaduna.

The arrest was reportedly related to a Facebook post in which she criticized Governor Uba Sani.

Sources told DAILY POST that the Department of State Services (DSS) agents took her from her home on Sunday afternoon.

Confirming her arrest, one of her brothers, said, “Aisha has just been arrested by DSS at her Tudun Wada residence in Kaduna.”

Former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai, recently visited Borno State Governor, Umaru Babagana Zulum, in Maiduguri, the state capital.

The two leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were photographed during the visit. However, the details of the visit have not been made public yet.

Meanwhile, the suspended Women Leader of the APC in Kaduna State, Maryam Suleiman, has accused Governor Uba Sani of disloyalty.

She emphasized that she has no regrets about criticizing him.

Governor Sani had expressed his concerns during a Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, stating that the former Governor of the state, Nasir El-Rufai, left him with $587m, N85bn, and 115 contractual liabilities.
