Reality TV star Venita Akpofure, popularly known as Venita, has shared her thoughts on marriage, urging women not to rush into it at a young age.

Venita expressed her views on the Big Friday Show alongside fellow reality star Tacha.

She emphasized the importance of enjoying one’s youth and gaining diverse life experiences before considering marriage. Venita advised women to avoid marrying specifically before the age of 28, stating, “Don’t marry young o! Don’t go and do ‘I’m doing high school, sweetheart. We die here.’ Just be young! Enjoy your life. When you’re tired, get married.”

As a 37-year-old mother of two, Venita specifically mentioned that, especially for her daughter, she would be open to the idea if approached, as long as the daughter is not yet 28. Venita highlighted the necessity for individuals to fully discover themselves before committing to marriage. While acknowledging that some people may mature at a younger age, she stressed the importance of exploring various aspects of life to make informed decisions about marriage.

“Don’t get me wrong, there are people who are mature, oh. But you need to try different things in life, different experiences, to be sure of okay, I want to be stuck here. Because it’s handcuff, you’re there,” explained Venita.
