According to Derek Chisora, a close friend of Anthony Joshua, Joshua will not be facing Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk in his next fight.
Joshua, a former two-time world champion, was expected to fight for the undisputed world titles after his recent knockout victory over Francis Ngannou.
However, Fury and Usyk are set to fight for all four heavyweight belts next month with a rematch clause, so they are likely to face each other again later this year.
Chisora also mentioned that Joshua will be headlining a Wembley Stadium event hosted by Queensbury Promotions later this year.
“He will fight the winner of Daniel Dubois and [Filip] Hrgovic in Wembley. F*** it, I’ve got a big mouth. That’s the plan. It’s gonna be a sick, a little adventure for Turki Alalshikh to bring it back to London,” Chisora told iFL TV.
