Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has publicly criticized his fourth baby mama, expressing his discontent with her recent interview.

Taking to his Instagram story on Monday, January 29, 2024, Portable aired his grievances regarding Ashabi’s interview, in which she openly discussed their relationship. He disavowed Ashabi as his wife, dismissing their connection as that of “just a side chick.”

Expressing his frustration, Portable questioned the necessity of Ashabi’s interview, stating, “What useless interview were you granting? You are simply a side chick. I am a responsible man, committed to my wife and children at home. I acknowledged your child when you became pregnant. Have I wronged you?”

Portable went on to clarify that his wife had never engaged in conflicts with any of his other partners, opting to stay out of such matters as she is content with their situation.

He criticized Ashabi for her decision to give the interview, accusing her of seeking attention. He also emphasized that Ashabi is not the only woman to have had a child with him, suggesting that her actions were unnecessary.

Furthermore, Portable expressed his disappointment with Ashabi’s choice to discuss their relationship publicly, suggesting that she should have maintained her privacy. He also criticized the interviewers, suggesting that they were only interested in exploiting her newfound status.

This public rebuke follows Ashabi’s interview with actress Biola Bayo, in which she expressed doubts and insecurities about her relationship with Portable despite his marital status and involvement with other women. The two have since unfollowed each other on Instagram.
