Ex-Minister’s Daughter Dies In Fire Accident

Ewurama, the daughter of a former Ghanaian education minister, Professor Christopher Ameyaw Akumfi, has died.

The victim, a teacher, was killed in a devastating fire at his family’s home in Techiman, Bono.

According to investigations, the fire was started by an explosion in one of the apartments, inflicting considerable damage to the building.

She was allegedly treated at a hospital after suffering significant burn injuries as a result of the fire.

She was studying law at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) at the time of her death.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) was stated to have reacted to the event, but by the time they arrived, the structure was engulfed in flames.

According to eyewitnesses, Ewurama, the lone person at home at the time of the fire, attempted to flee but sustained severe burn injuries.
