Pete Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actor, has spoken out about the marital conflict between his son Yul and his first wife May regarding the union with industry colleague, Judy Austin.

May has declined to take part in Yul’s polygamous marriage to Judy, which has made headlines about Yul.

Yul and Judy have persisted in posting pictures of their romantic encounters online despite May’s social media quiet.

According to rumors that circulated earlier this week, May has filed for divorce from Yul and his second wife, Judy, whom she accuses of adultery, and is suing them for N100 million in damages.

She also obtained a restraining order that prevents Yul from entering the house they constructed together as a married couple.

Despite news of the lawsuit, Yul posted a joyful video of him and his wife Judy dancing to one of Flavor’s songs on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

Yul said in response to trolls who were against his marriage to his second wife, “If you don’t like this video, then you have a serious problem.”

During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Pete Edochie spoke in proverbs about the marriage turmoil in which Yul has been mired.

Pete claimed that Yul is to blame for his current situation in the TikTok snippet Chude posted.

He said, “He who fetches ant-infested firewood, should be ready to host the lizards for a feast”
