Victory Gbakara, a gospel singer, was crowned Nigerian Idol Season 8 winner on Sunday night.

He beat off Precious Mac to win the N100 million grand prize, which includes N35 million in cash and a brand new automobile.

A music record deal and a video shoot are also part of the prize.
