Social media influencer VeryDarkMan has made serious allegations against a friend of Ubi Franklin, accusing them of defrauding a budding artist by leveraging Davido’s name.
According to VeryDarkMan’s video, the artist and their manager sought Ubi Franklin’s help in securing a music feature.
Allegedly, Ubi Franklin demanded an initial N2 million to gauge their seriousness and later requested an additional N5 million to arrange a meeting with Davido for a discounted collaboration fee.
Ubi Franklin purportedly assured the artist of assistance in obtaining a US visa, ultimately receiving a total of N10.5 million from them.
