Argentine attacker Valentín Castellanos scored four goals as Girona defeated LaLiga champion Real Madrid 4-2 on Tuesday.
Castellanos is the first player in the twenty-first century to score four goals against Madrid in a single LaLiga match.
Madrid, which has 65 points right now, may fall 14 points behind Barcelona, the league’s top team if Barcelona defeats Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.
Castellanos doubled the advantage in the 12th and 24th minutes, respectively.
Vinicius Junior gave Madrid a goal back in the 34th minute, but one minute into the second half, Castellanos scored his hat-trick to make it 3-1.
In the 62nd minute, he added his fourth goal, and with five minutes left, Lucas Vazquez made it 4-2
