Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week after scoring in Napoli’s 1-1 draw against Barcelona.

Osimhen, a Nigerian international, scored the equalizer against Barcelona, cancelling out Robert Lewandowski’s opening goal with just 15 minutes left in the game.

The goal was Osimhen’s first in the UEFA Champions League this season, showing his strength by turning Inigo Martinez inside the penalty area and scoring from 14 yards out on a pass from Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa.

Other players in contention for the award include Lewandowski, Donyell Malen from PSV Eindhoven, and Gelano from Porto.
