Toyin Lawani Voices Regret Over Real Housewives Of Lagos Participation

In a twist of events, popular fashion designer Toyin Lawani has expressed remorse regarding her involvement in the contentious reality show, Real Housewives of Lagos.

She expressed disbelief and described her participation as a “joke.” Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Lawani stated, “[I] Can’t believe I was part of a joke #Rholagos #kof #kingofallQueens.”

Recall that the Real Housewives of Lagos reality show stirred controversy in its second season when some stars accused Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo of “bullying.”

In her defence, Ojo released a statement on her Instagram page, asserting that the show was scripted. She also mentioned that she deliberately played the “villain,” but her co-stars were attempting to portray the show as if it were “real life.”
