Nigerian music icon Oche Gabriel Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has officially declared his retirement from the music industry.
Making the announcement on his Instagram page, Terry G cited the dwindling success of his musical career as the reason for his departure.
In expressing his deep appreciation to his dedicated fan base for their unwavering support over the years, Terry G acknowledged that his decision might be disheartening for them. However, he emphasized that this move is a personal one and is made in his best interest.
He said, “A heartfelt thank you to my fans for sticking with me throughout these years. I truly appreciate each and every one of you. It has been an incredible journey filled with love. But now, I’m about to share a major announcement.”
“I understand it might be painful for many of you, but I have my reasons. I am bidding farewell to music. It’s a wrap. And I sincerely thank all of you for showering me with so much love.”
