Nigerian singer Terry G has publicly called out his former manager, alleging that the manager frequently booked him for events without confirming his availability.

Taking to social media on Sunday, Terry G addressed his prolonged absence from the music scene, attributing it to undisclosed issues with his previous management.

While apologizing to event organizers for certain questionable practices by his ex-manager, the singer accused the management team of overbooking him and failing to reimburse promoters.

In a statement, he expressed, “To all event organizers: I was part of a team (managers) that engaged in unethical practices, misrepresenting my availability. They accepted bookings without my consent. I am human, and I extend my apologies to all of you through this platform. I am relieved to clear the air, as this has been the reason behind my recent absence. Thank you.”

This statement comes shortly after the artist announced his retirement from the music industry.
