Erik Ten Hag is “not happy” with Marcus Rashford‘s form at Manchester United but has backed the striker to turn things around.

The England international has found the net just once so far this season and that was against Arsenal at the emirates earlier this season as United have struggled in front of goal.

Ten Hag is clearly disappointed but believes as the team hopefully improves, so will he.

“I think he is not happy. We are not happy,” Ten Hag said in his pre-match press conference ahead of the meeting with Luton Town on Saturday.

“He has high expectations for himself and in this moment he is not in his best form. I know he will be back and when the team is playing better, he will play better and score goals. I am confident in that. He will improve and score goals this season.

“He is totally aware of everything, so he will be back on track.”
