Popular Nigerian comedian Seyi Law opened up about the significant toll his social media activism in support of President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 election campaign had on his online following.

Speaking as a guest on The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, alongside Toun Cole and Husband Material, Seyi Law shared that he witnessed a drastic decline of over 200,000 followers as a result.

He emphasized the importance of integrity and fairness in all actions, regardless of the consequences, stating, “The most crucial thing is to ensure that whatever you do, you’re doing it with the right intentions.”

Meanwhile, Seyi Law also acknowledged Tinubu’s role in shaping Lagos into the thriving entertainment capital it is today, noting, “Tinubu arguably played a pivotal role in creating an enabling environment for the entertainment industry to flourish.”
