Paris Saint-Germain has secured their third consecutive French title after Monaco suffered a 3-2 loss to Lyon on Sunday.

PSG was already 12 points ahead of Monaco after a 3-3 draw with Le Havre on Saturday, leaving Monaco with only four games left to play.

Malick Fofana’s late goal for Lyon sealed the victory, confirming PSG as the champions once again.

“Congratulations to all the players, our coach Luis Enrique and his staff, Luis Campos and his sports department, and everyone at the club,” club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi told the club’s website.

The defending champions have had an outstanding season, only losing once in the league to Nice in September with a score of 3-2.
