President Joe Biden announced on Saturday that US forces assisted in neutralizing the majority of drones and missiles launched by Iran towards Israel.

He reiterated his unwavering support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Biden stated that he will gather leaders from the G7 nations to discuss a unified diplomatic response to Iran’s aggressive actions.

He also condemned the attacks on military sites in Israel by Iran and its allies in Yemen, Syria, and Iraq.

“Iran — and its proxies operating out of Yemen, Syria, and Iraq — launched an unprecedented air attack against military facilities in Israel. I condemn these attacks in the strongest possible terms,” Biden said.

Biden mentioned that he had deployed US military aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the Middle East in response to the escalating Iranian threat against Israel.

“Thanks to these deployments and the extraordinary skill of our servicemembers, we helped Israel take down nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles,” Biden said.

Biden mentioned that he had talked to Netanyahu to confirm America’s strong commitment to Israel’s security.

He also stated that there had been no attacks on US forces or facilities by Iran.
