Pandemonium As Bandits Match Dozens Into Forest In Kaduna Community

Bandits have attacked Angwar Danko community in Kakangi, Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

They forced many people into a forest after invading the community on Wednesday evening and firing shots recklessly.

Witnesses reported that the attackers have taken men and women into the forest.

Yahaya Musa Dan Salio, the representative for Kakangi Ward in the State House of Assembly, confirmed the incident to the media.

“I just received a call from the area informing me that dozens of my constituents have been abducted. The bandits have surrounded the village, and as we speak, they are still there, taking their victims into the forest. The situation is dire,” he said.

The exact number of people abducted is unknown at this time.

ASP Mansur Hassan, the Public Relations Officer for the State Police Command, was unavailable for comment when reached by press time.
