There was tension at the Oyo Government Secretariat on Saturday due to an invasion by masked men.

The armed men were positioned at key locations within the secretariat.

Some were reported to be guarding the entrance to the Governor’s office gate, while others were seen at the entrance to the House of Assembly Gate, and more were at the main entrance.

The identity of the masked men was unknown at the time of this report.

Police officers and other law enforcement agencies arrived at the Secretariat in multiple patrol vans.
