Famous Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola has asked God to intervene in the Nigerian film industry’s death crisis.

This follows the loss of another Nollywood actress, Wunmi Olowokandi, who died on Monday evening.

Wunmi’s demise follows the deaths of St. Obi and Murphy Afolabi in less than a week.

Odunlade prayed on his official Instagram page for God to close the door on untimely death in the film industry in response to the deceased’s death.

He wrote: “Unquestionable you are the LORD. I pray God will close the door of untimely death in our industry and in the house of every one of us in Jesus’ name.”

Recall that actor Murphy Afolabi died on Sunday after apparently falling and slumping in his restroom.
