‘Nothing Like Afrobeat’ — Ayra Starr Unveils Huge Career Ambition

Nigerian singer and Grammy Awards nominee Ayra Starr has revealed her ambition to become one of the top Afrobeats artists.

The 21-year-old also shared her dream for the genre to become the most popular in the world.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK, she stated, “I hope that Afrobeats becomes the biggest genre globally because it truly deserves that recognition.”

“Other genres of music are great, but there’s nothing like Afrobeat. Even the sad music makes you feel good. So, I want Afrobeats to be the biggest genre in the world, and I would love to be one of the leading artists.”

She disclosed that her dream music is Rihanna, Drake, Burna Boy, Beyoncé, Victoria Monét, Rema, Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar, and Tyler The Creator.
