American rap star Nicki Minaj has alleged that Megan Thee Stallion intends to exploit her situation with Tory Lanez, aiming for a public reaction similar to the notorious Rihanna and Chris Brown incident.

In a recent X Space session with fans, Minaj claimed that Megan’s legal actions against Tory Lanez were driven by a desire for a “Rihanna moment,” referring to the increased fame Rihanna garnered after publicly addressing her abuse by Chris Brown.

Minaj suggested that while Rihanna’s authenticity endeared her to fans, Megan’s handling of the situation with Lanez appeared calculated for attention.

She stated, “It’s obvious. Megan wanted to replicate Rihanna’s strength, but Rihanna’s genuine approach set her apart. Rihanna didn’t exploit her struggles; she moved forward with grace.”

Minaj’s comments imply a belief that Megan’s handling of the Lanez incident lacked the authenticity that defined Rihanna’s response to her own trauma.
