Eniola Badmus, a Nollywood actress, has criticised individuals who have criticized President Bola Tinubu for withdrawing fuel subsidies.

Recall that the price of fuel at the pump rose to N617 per litre after the subsidy was removed.

However, in a recent interview with prominent media personality Daddy Freeze, Badmus asserted that Nigeria still had the world’s lowest fuel prices.

She claimed that many of those criticizing the president are unaware of the benefits of eliminating the fuel subsidy.

She said, “A lot of these keypad warriors do not even have an idea of what subsidy is. It was when they removed it that they knew what the government was doing. Even till now, I think we still buy the cheapest fuel in the world.”

The 40-year-old actress reaffirmed her unwavering support for President Tinubu, saying she had “never seen a philanthropist as our current president.”
