The Nigeria Air plane will arrive in the country on Friday. The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has revealed.
In an exclusive interview with Channels Television, the minister stated that a Nigeria Air plane will be in the country in two days as part of the processes to begin operations and reveal the delivery process.
He pledged that the aircraft would be unveiled in Nigerian colors, fulfilling all of the administration’s commitments in the aviation sector.
He did, however, mention that the only unfinished piece is the aerotropolis, which is the airport city and is 60% complete.
According to him, the groundwork has been completed, and work on the airport city is expected to be completed by the next administration.
Sirika stated in March at an aviation stakeholder’s event in Abuja that Nigeria Air will begin full operations before the conclusion of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
In response to a question about when Nigeria Air will begin operations, the minister stated, “Before the end of this administration, before May 29th, we will fly.”
