About Nigerian Air Force

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) was founded on April 18, 1964, as the air arm of the Nigerian Army. Presently, the NAF has a sizable aircraft fleet and about 15,000 serving officers.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is inviting all eligible Nigerians to apply online at its official recruitment website before the application deadline of November 6th, 2023. Please be aware that NAF administration will not review applications received after the registration deadline.

Key Points To Note Before You Begin Your Application

  • The first day of online registration is October 30, 2023.
  • There will be recruitment interviews starting in November 2023.
  • There is no cost associated with the online registration process for the Nigerian Air Force or any other recruitment procedure; payment is not required at any stage of the process.
  • The photo from the passport and a copy of the signee’s driver’s license, international passport, or national ID card must be included with the attestation form. The applicant’s passport photo must also be verified by the signee.

How To Apply For Nigerian Air Force recruitment 2023/2024

Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Application Guidelines

Interested applicants are advised to only submit one online application; further submissions will result in disqualification.

2) Upon finishing the online application, candidates need to print the following files:

a. The Local Government Chairman or a military commander must sign the Local Government Attestation Form.

b. Parent/Guardian Consent Form. c. Acknowledgment Form.

Requirements for Nigerian Air Force Recruitment

  • Candidates must be citizens of Nigeria by birth.
  • Applicants must be in possession of a BVN or National Identity Card/NIN.
  • Candidates must be at least 1.66 meters tall for men and 1.63 meters tall for women.
  • Candidates need to be in good physical, mental, and medical health. Candidates must not have had any prior criminal convictions that a court of law has determined to exist.

Non-Tradesmen/women

  • Applicants who are not tradesmen or women must be between the ages of 18 and 22.
  • Those who were born before March 31, 2001, are not eligible.
  • Applicants must have completed no more than two sittings of the SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB with a minimum of five credits, including English and mathematics.

Tradesmen/women

  • Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 25 to apply as tradesmen or women (those born before October 30, 1999, are not eligible).
  • Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 28 to be considered for positions such as Chaplain’s Assistant, Assistant Imam, and Driver/Mechanic; those who were born before March 31, 1995, are ineligible. Candidates with ND/NCE credentials must have at least a lower grade from recognized universities and a minimum of five credits—including English and mathematics—in no more than two sittings.
  • NECO/GCE/NABTEB/SSCE.
  • In addition to their Trade Test Certificate, candidates looking for jobs requiring a Trade Test must have a minimum of two passes in the SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, with a credit in English. Candidates who are applying as athletes must present documentation of their background, such as diplomas and awards.
