Popular Nigerian disc jockey Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has stated her heartfelt wish after meeting singer and composer Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as Asake.
DJ Cuppy stated she was able to convey her greatest wish to become a full-time backup vocalist to Asake by sharing a video clip via her verified X (previously Twitter) account.
The performer stated that she had the talk with Asake shortly after meeting him for the first time.
She wrote: “Hadn’t met @AsakeMusik in real life until this surprise. I was finally able to discuss my deep desire and career development of becoming his full-time backup singer. #CuppyOnAMission #MrsMoney,” DJ Cuppy wrote on the social networking app.
DJ Cuppy’s declaration comes only three weeks after Asake sold out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, joining the ranks of Nigerian artists like as Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.
