The Blues suffered another defeat, conceding four goals for the second game in a row, which caused them to drop down in the Premier League standings.

Matheus Cunha’s hat-trick led to Chelsea’s downfall, as Wolves handed them a heavy defeat, putting more pressure on their manager, Mauricio Pochettino, who used to manage Tottenham.

In their previous match, Chelsea lost 4-1 to Liverpool. They initially took the lead in the 19th minute with a well-executed finish by Cole Palmer. However, Cunha quickly equalized three minutes later with the help of a deflection off Thiago Silva.

Chelsea’s luck was not on their side when Rayan Ait-Nouri’s shot deflected off Axel Disasi and went into the net as an own goal. Cunha then scored a beautiful goal to make it 3-1 just after the 60-minute mark and later converted a penalty he earned eight minutes before the end of the game.

In the 84th minute, Thiago Silva scored a goal to decrease the deficit, but the visitors managed to maintain their lead and secure a well-deserved 4-2 victory. This win allowed them to surpass the Blues and move up to 10th place in the Premier League standings.
