Manchester United have made club jerseys with Mason Greenwood’s name on the back unavailable on the club website.

Greenwood hasn’t played or trained for United since January 2022, when he was suspended for alleged rape, violence, and controlling or coercive behavior. Those allegations were withdrawn in February 2023, but the player is still being investigated internally in Manchester.

Greenwood was just added to the club’s retained list, but he has been barred from returning to training while United conducts its investigation. He was recently seen working out alone and is said to desire to know his future at Old Trafford.

When supporters seek to buy a club shirt, they can customize it on the club’s website. While the option to put Marcel Sabitzer’s name on their favorite jersey remains, Greenwood’s No.11 shirt cannot be selected. Sabitzer is unlikely to join United on a permanent basis after joining on loan from Bayern Munich.

The 21-year-old recently listed his £15k-a-month property for rent, amid speculations that he could be loaned out to a European team for the 2023-24 season. Juventus and AC Milan, as well as some Turkish clubs, have been rumored to be open to such an arrangement.

Greenwood’s future is expected to be decided based on the opinions of numerous club stakeholders, including commercial partners and Red Devils women’s team players.
