Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is due to sign a new contract with the club, making him the highest-paid player at Old Trafford.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the England striker is close to signing a new lucrative contract with Manchester United. Rashford’s current contract expires in June 2024, and he has been in talks with the Red Devils since the beginning of the year.

Romano disclosed that Rashford is ready to accept United’s current offer, and just a few technicalities remain to be worked out before the contract is formally confirmed.

Rashford just enjoyed his finest season for United, scoring 30 goals in all competitions as the Red Devils finished third in the Premier League to return to the Champions League, won the Carabao Cup to end a six-year trophy drought, and reached the FA Cup final.
