Several villagers are believed to have been killed and many others injured in an attack by suspected herdsmen on Ugbobi community in Apa Local Government Area of Benue State.
Residents have fled their homes, allowing the attackers to burn houses and steal food.
Eric Amodu, a resident, expressed frustration that the attack has been ongoing for over two hours with no security forces intervening.
He said, “It’s been 2 hours since this morning attack began and still no security forces has made any effort. Obvious conspiracy.”
