Kaduna: Minister Badaru Optimistic About Swift Rescue Of Kidnapped Kuriga Students

The Minister of Defence, Muhammed Badaru Abubakar, has assured that the abducted students from Kuriga in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State will be rescued soon.

He made this statement on Thursday in Kaduna while addressing troops of 1 Division who are fighting bandits in the North-West and other parts of the country.

The Minister also promised that the perpetrators of the killings of military officers and soldiers in Okuama community of Delta State will be found and brought to justice.

During his visit to the 1 Division Nigerian Army in Kaduna, the Minister encouraged the troops to keep fighting and assured them that victory is near.

He mentioned that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aware of their sacrifices and appreciates their efforts.

According to the Minister, “We have the power, will, strength and determination and our morale is high to end insecurity. I know what you have been doing to rescue the school children unhurt, keep the morale high, the President is behind you one hundred percent.”

The Minister also mentioned that he has been briefed on their efforts to rescue the kidnapped school children and is confident that they will succeed.
