Paul Okoye of the music duo Psquare, also known as Rudeboy, is encouraging fellow entertainers to invest their earnings while they are still successful.

He believes this is important because many veteran Nigerian entertainers have been forced to ask for public help due to health issues or financial difficulties.

According to him, the trend is damaging the reputation of the entertainment industry.

On his Instagram story, Paul wrote: “Seriously, a lot is going on in the industry, including depression and all. But, abeg, if e reach your turn to shine, abeg, try to invest. E no easy atall. Avoid story that touches. Me sef don taya to the hear stories. E come be like na loose guard industry.”
