Nigerian popular singer Simisola Kosoko, known famously as Simi, has praised her colleague Chike’s lovely voice.
Speaking in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, the mother of one noted that she adores his voice and that it is filled with emotion.
Recall that Chike and Simi worked on a love song called ‘Running To You’ in 2021.
Simi stated that the ‘Boo of The Booless’ singer was grateful for the cooperation.
She said: “I actually love Chike’s voice so much. There is so much emotions his voice carries. When he wanted to do the song [‘Running To You’], I don’t even think I was around. He sent it to me. He already had a version of the song on his album, but I hadn’t heard the album at the time. And when I sent the version, I was like, ‘This is so beautiful.’
“I was so happy to do it. Funny thing is that I’ve done quite a number of features, but he [Chike] was just very appreciative. He kept showing how appreciative he is, and I really liked that.”
