United States-based Nigerian musician Darlington Okoye, alias Speed Darlington, has pledged never to marry a woman above the age of 30.
He stated that he would rather “die lonely” than marry a woman of that age.
This was mentioned by the controversial rapper in a video that went viral on the internet.
Speaking in a mix of English and Igbo, Speed Darlington stated that he would sooner leave all of his assets to charity than start a family with a 30-year-old woman.
He claims that despite their financial affluence, elderly women do not support their spouses in paying bills.
“I would rather die lonely than marry a 30-year-old woman. I prefer to sell all my things [properties] give it to charity than starting a family with a woman in her 30s,” he said.
