Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo, also known as Solidstar, has revealed his struggle with drug addiction. He admitted that he became addicted to drugs after being introduced to a substance called “ice” by some young boys.
This substance caused him to walk from Awoyaya to the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
Solidstar shared this information in a preview of the upcoming episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel (Nedu), Toun Cole, and Husband Material.
Solidstar said, “A lot of things happened to me. Some young boys introduced me to a substance called ice. It affected me so much. I trekked from Awoyaya to Oriental Hotel.”
Earlier this year, Solidstar was seen looking disheveled and wandering the streets, prompting his brother Joseph to explain in a video that the singer was struggling with drug addiction, which was negatively impacting him.
