Wealth-flaunting Dino Melaye, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last Kogi governorship election, has entered the ongoing rivalry between Nigerian Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Davido.
Melaye believes that Davido is clearly the top figure in the Nigerian music scene and the most successful artist worldwide.
Sharing his opinion on his X handle on Wednesday, the outspoken ex-senator wrote: “Davido is undoubtedly the 001 in the Nigerian music industry and undoubtedly the most patronized globally.”
Allub Times reports that Wizkid and Davido have been locked in a heated argument on social media. Davido has since challenged Wizkid to a music battle, but Wizkid has not responded yet.
